  • In response to the Governor’s directives, Upper Moreland Township will begin mitigation practices to help slow and prevent the spread of the coronavirus/COVID-19. To assist with the Township’s response and in accord with the Township’s Emergency Plan, the Board of Commissioners has declared a Disaster effective immediately.

    All Township facilities will be temporarily closed to the public effective immediately and all Township meetings have been canceled through the end of March. The Township will continue to provide essential services, such as Police, Fire, and Trash Collection, and beginning today, Tuesday, March 17, 2020, all other and non-essential services such as tax collection, financial services and permitting will be open for business, but residents will be directed to online and telephone services. 

    All updates will be posted on the Township’s websites, the Government Access Channel (Comcast Channel 965 and Verizon Channel 41). A breakdown of Department services can be found below:

    Parks and Recreation
    Parks and Recreation has canceled all programs through April 30, 2020 (esentially ending all our spring offerings).

    Parks are closed to organized activities. You may do solitary recreation (walking, running...). No groups activities are permitted.  All park amenities that are designed for group activities have been fenced off or caution taped to signify they are closed.  

    The Parks & Recreation window at the Township Building is closed to the public. P&R personnel will be available to answer all questions via phone at (267) 607-1041/1040/1039.

You may complete the registration payment process from home via credit card OR you may mail those forms to the Parks and Recreation Department with your payment. Please know; however, if you mail the registration forms, you are not officially in the program until payment is received at the Department Office.
